COVID Transmission & Mutation: How India’s Virus Evolved and Spread

While all the experts around the world are in quest of finding answers to questions relating to coronavirus and more of the virus transmission and vaccinations, we are more interested in the mutational abilities of the virus and the other advancements that are currently being acquired by the virus, as you read the article. The fact that the virus is mutating every minute and every day is now completely understood to us but how and what is the exact pattern in which it is mutating, what are the major factors which are leading to more lethal strain now and then, I have a hypothesis to explain the phenomenon which I like to call as the “immunity proportional mutation” I propose that the mutation of the virus is directly proportional to the immunity of an individual or the community.

immunity proportional mutation

While you might have had a small snippet of what my immunity proportional mutation hypothesis is, here is a short and easy way to understand the theory.

Let’s take an example of any game where the hero/protagonist is there to save the female lead/world as the case may be, when the protagonist clears a level, he/she gets a new piece of information/key/power as the case may be in the game which helps him/her to proceed and win the next level. This piece of information is given to the protagonist by the game itself. Learning from the analogy, we now know that at each level the hero also upgrades its powers or gets a new piece of information which helps it survive the game. In the same way, the virus is the protagonist in the game, and every human with a higher level of immunity is the next level. So whenever the virus leaves or gone on to the next host, if his/her immunity is higher than the previous host then it has to gather a new information/set of powers to survive in this condition, hence the new quest to find that crucial information starts, This is where the virus mutates further.

So, what now? Should we reduce our immunity and increase our chances of sabotaging our health and dying so that the virus may not spread?

Nope, that’s not what I suggest, the virus may level up according to the immunity, now recall the example of the game if the protagonist is still on level 5 and he is directly transported (a wild card entry) to level 20 or 50 will he still be able to clear the level? Unlikely right? So, the suggested method is to increase your immunity level so as not to give the virus scope to mutate or even try to clear the immune level. Initially It was obvious that the strong variant may come from far north east or south in India, and in Global Context there will be a stronger strain may come out from japan, African continent and other near nations which have high immunity or places where the living conditions are worse and due to these the body has adapted to survive in worse cases, in such countries the immunity is perceptibly higher than normal, countries like Pakistan, Uzbekistan, turkey can also produce a strong strain but for god’s sake the infection is low in these nations.

Is Vaccination our only way out?

The answer is going to be far more than just a yes or no; there are a few details that need to be in our minds before we answer that question. There are many vaccinations available, but we have already discussed that in our previous articles as to why mRNA is the best, now we have best of the vaccinations and we need to use these tools to the best of their ability, taking an mRNA vaccination and a weakened strain-based vaccination may increase our chances to resist the virus.

Let us understand why…

The mRNA vaccination sends a signal to our immune system taking a small packet of information which will be helpful for our body and tells them to be ready to fight, now the second vaccine is based on the real weakened strain which gives a real exercise to the immune system to be ready for a much higher powered virus (through the perception of the body it has got a message and got to face a real enemy now it’s in a full alert mode and ready to face the worse) so not is it better equipped to face the wrath of the virus.

Mutation, what is happening?

No, the virus is incapable of reproducing itself; that is the reason it cannot multiply outside the body. It heavily relies on our (Host) body to multiply itself. In such a case, when the virus has created multiple copies of itself, and attack the immune system, every time a virus dies it generates an encoded information which is picked up by the alive virus and learn from the mistakes of its dead pal, after making appropriate amendments to itself nay equipping itself with new gear of ammunition, it re-attacks until it succeeds, and that’s how we get a stronger virus. Once the immune system is defeated and all the original or the infected strain is dead, the new mutated strain is the only one that is alive. Through the host, this mutated and fully equipped virus hops to find a different host and repeats the same process. It’s a never-ending process.

The only way to save ourselves is either to get vaccinated or break this chain. So, it's important to follow the SOP guidelines issued by the Government and WHO strictly.
